Noodle brands aren’t short on personality, which made the Noodle Riot challenge a little harder: how do you create another loud, expressive food brand without it feeling like something you’ve seen before? I wanted to build something distinctive enough to hold its own, with a personality that felt specific to the brand rather than added on afterwards.

So I started with the rooster. Loud, opinionated and ready to riot when the noodles fall short, he gave the brand its personality and became the idea everything else could build from.

From there, I developed the visual identity, logo and tone of voice, then carried it across the packaging, menu, merchandise and website hero. Every illustration was custom and hand-drawn, with no stock artwork used. I then used AI to build the mockup scenes and photography around the identity, giving the brand a visual world of its own.

The goal was simple: make Noodle Riot hard to confuse with anyone else.
